Meet the 2014-2016 JAB

The 2014-2016 Junior Advisory Board was recently selected and held their first meeting at Main Event.  Amongst an evening of pizza, laser tag, and the gravity ropes course a lot of important business was discussed.  JAB members will each work hard to plan an event in their community or school, work together to plan a large event, help recruit new members, and provide feedback with new ideas for the organization.  We are all looking forward to a great future with these young ladies involved!

Muddy Memories!!

On March 1, 2014 close to 200 GoPLAYGirls members, family and friends gathered on just over 3-acres in Cibolo, TX for our Muddy Miler.  Participants weaved through mazes, climbed over walls, hurdled through tires, and crawled through a crazy pit of mud all in the name of fitness and fun.    Patterned after the quite popular adult mud and dirt based races we scaled the distance down a little, but the challenge of the obstacles were top notch.  Many of the participants not only completed the course once, but upwards of 4-5 times.  Smiling (and muddy) faces were abound and the day was quite a success.
Thank you to all who came out and to the volunteers who put in countless hours preparing the course.  We are already planning the next muddy fun time!!
